Our Advisory program provides students an opportunity to form interpersonal connections in a small, supportive community of multi-aged students guided by an academic advisor. Advisory meets daily and advisors serve as both a learning and life coach.

On a weekly basis, the advisor will meet with each student advisee to discuss the student's academic plan and progress. During these meetings students will share their successes and any struggles they are having in each seminar. The advisor will determine if any outstanding work is due and help each student with goal setting and devising a plan, if necessary, to get back on track to meet deadlines.  At Pathways High we believe students should manage their own learning so they thrive as lifelong learners, a vital skill in our rapidly changing world.  Advisors will slowly release students so that by their junior and senior years students will only need the occasional support in maintaining good academic standing and selecting the appropriate seminars to meet their graduation requirements and life goals.

Advisory also focuses on developing
EMPOWER Skills and fostering Pathways High’s core values: TIDE (Trust, Interconnectedness, Diverse by Design and Excellence With Purpose).

Parents are strongly encouraged to connect with their student’s advisor early and often.
